"People who give an hour or more per week to a good cause have fewer illnesses and live longer than people who do not. Begin involved in an altruistic way with other people, learning to give, becomes a pattern that makes you healthier."

"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." ~ Mahatma Ghandi

The simple gift of friendship can restore joy and hope to a person who is isolated from friends and family support.

CCC’s Senior Care Program recruits, trains and supports caring volunteers to help their frail and elderly neighbors through friendly relationships. The assistance can be shopping, delivering a meal, picking up medications, respite care, financial assessments and management or taking a person to the doctor.

Our MODEL of assisting seniors to "Age In Place" has a tremendous success rate and is largely due to ability to connect clients with essential community - based resources.
